At Raymond’s Math Studio, we will walk every student through the entire journey in Mathematics, commencing with foundation building in Secondary One, to the level streaming exercise in Secondary Two and onto GCE O Level in Secondary 4.

The emphasis in Secondary One and Two is to build a strong foundation on the concept of Algebra. Students will also be introduced to new concepts like graph, sets and trigonometry.

It is important to cultivate the interest and confidence in Math at the lower Secondary Level as this will pave the way for Additional Mathematics in Secondary 3 and 4.

Students often encounter difficulty in transition from Secondary 2 to 3. The thinking process and solving skills becomes more complex and we must inculcate patience and discipline to help every student achieve “maturity” in mathematics.

We achieve this by constantly reminding and regurgitating concepts to our students. Periodic mock-up exams are conducted to condition them for their exams with the specific aim to downplay exam anxiety or phobia.
